AudioMix Studio had its beginnings as a beachfront radio station at the East London Orient Beach in the early 1990's.
Holiday makers were entertained during the day and various mobile disco outings were done in the evenings, including the New Year's Eve parties on the Esplanade in front of the Aquarium.
The Company branched out into Corporate Events providing Audio Visual Services to a variety of clients over the years.
Corporate Video and Radio Adverts were produced by AudioMix for a number of Corporate and private clients before the Company moved towards concentrating on the Radio Broadcasting Industry, Community Radio in particular.
Radio Outside Broadcasting became one of the specialities with the opening of the airwaves in 1996, AudioMix and AudioSport (the Outside Broadcasting Division) provided analog and later fully digital outside broadcast facilities to a number of Community broadcasters in the Eastern Cape.
